JASMIN WARNOCK

Atlanta Artist and Printmaker

"My reason for making prints is to become centered in my identity and process my experiences through the work that I make. My current body of work expresses how our experiences and childhood directly affect the people we become and how we present to the world. I find that our natural environment is a beautiful reflection of our experiences and often use nature and florals to represent the settings of my past. The types of trees you grew up with in your backyard, the honeysuckles that you picked at recess many of our memories and experiences can be tied to the nature that surrounded us."
